I am trying to write a report that needs to join two columns in one table to one column in another table.

In the first table there are two columns: cust_no which is '123' and sequence which is '1'

Someone decided to join our cust_no and sequence number as file_no like this in our second table: 123-1

All values are string values.

Is there a way I can join table1.(cust_no & sequence) with table2.(file_no) in Crystal Reports??

Thanks for any help,

Ken

You cannot join two fields to one. However, if you create a formula which concatenates these two fields, you can then link, but only with a subreport.

Thank you!
I think this will work now.
