Hello!

I have a nicelogg running on NT4 with "Logger installation package version 8.5".
Now i want to install winxp.

I have tried to install xp but when i run nice supervision i got the error message "DBM Initialization error 697"
When i look at the error codes in the manual it says that i have to contact nice costumer support.

Before i do that i will try here if someone know if it is possible to run "Logger installation package version 8.5".
on winxp, or do i have to insatll i later version of nicelog?

/Vilse

the only logger version ever that was deployed on windows xp was NCFIII and this is version 9.x

Okej that was bad.
But is it possible to install Nice Perform Logger 9.06.03.24 SP3?

What i want to do is to install a fresh copy of winxp to my Nicelogg that had NT4 with Nicelogg 8.5 before.

Or do i have to install version 8.9 and then upgrade to 9.06.03.24?

/DN

If your logger is running NT4 then I would suspect the hardware is not capable of running XP anyway let alone putting some Nicelog software on top?

What do you mean by "..anyway putting some some Nicelog software on top"?

What I meant was that if the hardware is old (very likely as the current o/s is NT4 and the logger is 8.5) then it may not be capable of running more recent Nicelog versions as well as probably not capable of running XP

Aha okej i understand.
Thanks for helping.
