OK..The last ADMIN set up a test domain for win 2000 server. I have demoted all of the DCs on it and I'm down to the last one. I want to get rid of the domain all together. When I go to DCpromo the last DC in the domain, I check the "last DC in the domain", but it wants to replicate the info off to another domain. I don't want it to do that, I just want it to go away.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Stacy

Is your last dc still conected to the network? If it is by it's self(not conected to any other computers or routers) I think it won't work. I believe that the dc likes to comunicate with a network to make sure it is the last dc on the network. I know if you install a dc into a network this rule aply's. It think it might be this case in your situation.
