i can see the ipo through manager in the default subnet

it has an ip 192.168.50.1

when i login though it gives me a failure to communicate error

i can connect no problem when i connect directly to the IPO

anyone know what ports need to be open or any other causes for this?

nevermind it was an ip address conflict thanks anyway guys

Go to ipofficeinfo.com and their is a pdf with all the ports that ip office uses. You'll get your answer there.

Hi jayster

Thanks but it ended up being an up address conflict as I stated up

Thanks anyways for the input

You may also consider opening the following ports in your router.

Port 7 Echo
3478 => SIP UDP Port used for STUN requests from the IP Office to the SIP provider.
5060 <= => SIP UDP/TCP* SIP Line Signaling
49152 to 53247* <= => RTP/RTCP UDP Dynamically allocated ports used during VoIP calls for RTP and RTCP traffic. The port range can be adjusted through the System | Gatekeeper tab.

The router should not block an ICMP messages.
