...well, being driven insane, anyway:

I have 2 databases, one on an networked drive shared by my department (P:\), and one on an networked drive shared by the whole company (S:\).

In my P Drive Database I have queries which will accept the Date() function, whereas the S Drive Database will not.

The S Drive Database brings up an error message that the expression is typed incorrectly, or is too compicated to be evaluated.

I am going round and round in circles with this, and I am starting to feel dizzy.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

James.

open the database on the S:\ drive, goto a code window. The goto tools, references and check for any check boxes with Missing in them. Uncheck these. I had this problem a couple of years a go and I am quite sure this will solve it.

Please let us know.

Nick

I had the same problem, so I always use fix(now()) instead of date(). Never fails!

Thank youboth very much.

I unchecked the Missing section (Gifsomething or other I think) and it works. Fanatastic.

Many thanks again.

James.
