i didnt know where to start this topic:
Hi, we purchased a DVR (digital video recording, its called EyeMax) system and it comes with a WebServer, then it supposly we can access to the cameras views from a url.
When i launch the url of the server it says that windows has blocked that content because is untrusted, then i signed the .cab file of the web server according this procedure:
After windows is still blocking the concents since it is issued by root and windows cannot validate it.

How can i do? Should i pay $499 for buy a verisign sign in order to validate a .cab file of a sofware that i already purchased?
Thanks in advance

Some clarification is needed here. You have a video camera/capture system for your PC. This system includes some software that creates a web server for viewing the camera feeds. OK so far. Now, did the webserver software actually install properly or is this where the 'unsigned' error occurs?

If the software installed OK and you get an error when accessing the IP address of the machine hosting the server, what exactly is the error message? Is something being installed to the client - a viewer of some sort?

Do all user accounts concerned have administrative privledges?

The installation of the server sofware its ok.
The follow error occurrs just when try to hit the ip of the server in Internet Explorer; the error happens very before introduce the username/password, in the first load of the page it ask for install an ActiveX.
This is the error:
"Windows has blocked this sofware beacuse it can't verify the publisher.
Name: WebDvr3.cab
Publihser: Unknown Publisher "

and then view details of the unknow publisher there are my information because i previusly signed the WebDvr3.cab on the server.

i modified exhaustively the Internet Explorer settings in order to allow that sofware to be installed with no results yet.
I has the same problem trying to access the server from the same machine wich runs the server.

Just the same error message when hit
