!st I had windows on Drive C and WinXP On E All My other files were on drives D, F G H. I used Partition MAgic to merge drives G&H No Problem there. Then I needed a bigger drive on Drive E, Which is windowsXP. So I thought I would merge E & F. It asked for a directory for the files, I thought for drive F. Now all my windowsXP files are in a directory called Moved. How can I move all the files in E:/moved/ to E:? I can boot to dos with a win98 boot disk but if I use the move or copy command I was wondering if it wil move all the protected files? Is there another command I can use to move all the directories and files that are protected?

Use Partition Magic's rescue disks to undo merge (look in help file for instructions). Leave the "dos-move" for later, someone here might have some expirience with such problems, and may offer a better solution... Be patient now, you've already screwed up more than you'd like...

Good luck!

I can't find anything on Undo merge! I have partition magic 8. but nothing is there about undo.
