I-RAD Access Denied

I had been into a CICS 6.0 a few times programming successfully last week. Then all of a sudden when they try to pass me in (the same person), I hear the error tone & their display on the T7316 states "Access Denied". I had them reboot to no avail.

I never ran into this on other systems.

Any other suggestions? Of course it is not a close site.

The IRAD should always answer and at the least give you access to the screen that allows you to input a keycode to enable it in restricted systems.

Did somebody turn answering off?

It was working fine. I set it up on Wednesday (it was never previously set up) when I was onsite.

I was physically into the system performing remote programming on Thursday in & out a few times between other remote tickets. Then maybe about the 4th time- "No Access" on the users display when she tried to pass me in.

This was the same user (only person on site) that had been passing me in.

After I had her reboot.I even tried calling in on other lines, even a different T7316 set just for giggles.

That is what I was thinking. Nobody on site knows how to get into programming.

I was thinking maybe the I-RAD locked up, which is why I had them reboot. I just did not know if anyone ran into this situation also.

Once in a blue moon I've been locked up with a FastRad over the years; a reboot of the device would correct it. I just never ran into this with an I-RAD.

Other thought was if somebody is progrmming say Feature *1 2 or 3 I think that disallows Config entry but now I am thinking maybe this 'Same User" was at a 7208 this time which does not work!.

Otherswise intresting problem.

Well I guess it is "FM".

I tried yesterday & she passed me right in.

I had reconfirmed with the person on site that nothing else was being done the other day.

We'll see if stays this way.

Thanks for the posts.
