I NEED to use an expanded tree object in a report

I have SQL that will build the proper tree, and the functionality to expand the tree on every level, but I have no idea how to print it out as such in a report. I need to be able to show the different nodes at different parents as to associate a tracing function I have in my application. If anyone has an idea I need it quick!
