I need to repair win2k server without ERD...

How can I repair the server without the ERD?
I've heard of "ERD commander 2003" , can it do it without destroying the date/programs?
When I tried to repair without the ERD and just with the win2k server cd it wouldn't let me.
There is SP3 installed on the server and the cd is only with SP1.
Help....

First off, relax. Give us more details. Is this W2k or W2k2003? What has happened to make the server die? What are the symptoms?

The server is 2002.

By the way , the server is nod dead , I can still bring it up but I hope that the repair proccess will replace some system files that make it work slow...
