I need to recover some files from 3.12, help please

I have a old server running 3.12 that is no longer on a network. I would like to grab some old Excel files from the public directory. They will fit on a floppy. What is the easiest way? I am not very familiar with novell specially 3.12.

Try this...

From the File Server Console...

Type LOAD NETBASIC
Type SHELL
You should see a DOS-style prompt. Navigate to the SYSUBLIC directory and copy the files to the A Drive.

By the way, you should also be able to press <CTRL><F1> to bring up a menu which, I believe, has an option to copy files.

Download the file jcmd146.zip. Unzip the file on the folder c:\server.312. Load the server and then load the file
jcmd.nlm.
You see the prompt like DOS.
