i need to move goldmine 5.5 from one computer to another. I have it already registered and installed on computer 1 and If I install it on computer 2 it asks me to register it again. If I then copy the orginal files over the new installation it looks to computer1 for the database.

Hi,
Edit the GM.INI and make sure the sysdir, golddir and commondir are pointing at your new machine.
Once you log in go to File>Open Database and click on properties for the database and again realign it to your new machine.
