I want the visitor to type his username into the box, then the page would be split into two frames, the one would just be for a page of my site. The other would be along the lines of I guess it'd have to use variables and such, and i was just wondering if it could be done in perl.

If it can't could you suggest a lnaguage it could be done in?

Thanks in advance,
Monochrome

I know quite a lot of html. I was lookin' into a html version for a while, and couldn't find anything.

I'm guessin' it can be done in HTML aswell?

I'll check back later and try and explain.

How about from someone elses site?
I was thinking of a site which found out the ip addresses amongst other things about a site. There is currently a few sites, for example, netcraft finds out the ip address, netblock owner and more. But others find out different infomation.

So i'd want each frame to go be like INPUT".
So it wouldn't be a simple redirection with sticking their input infront of an url, which all i've been able to do in java so far.

Can that be done in perl? or would java be fine for that aswell?

(edit)

But others find out different infomation.
So i'd just have the user tpe in the site, then the site'd split into a few frames, each with a different site in.
