I need to know how to purge deleted files from root of volume 1

I need to do this as soon as possible. My Sys volume needs to be freed of space!! Thank you in advance....
 
Hi.

Log in as supervisor or equivalent.
Map a drive to SYS: root
Go to that drive and type: \public\purge *.*
to purge just the deleted files in the root,
or : \public\purge *.* /a
to purge in root and all subdirectories.
