I need to have 5 analog set roll from one to another

I programmed 5 analog sets (500) to forward no answer to each other,The forwarding works for only two stations it never goes past the second sstation no matter which one is called.my stations are 3280,3281,3282,3283,3284
I have hta fna in cls
ftr cfw 4
ftr fdn is the next station

Try cls sfa (Second-level Forward no Answer) on the sets.

that is not the only required cls mark.. roll is not in the manuals.. has to do with flat bottom stations.. hunt is for busy treatment, forward if for ring no answer.. to do both at the set level.. for stations 1000, 2000 3000

and keep that up for as long of a hunt/fdn chain as you need.(almost) forward no answer will work for 3 hops, hunt on busy will work for 31 hops..

if those are manned stations and they can hear each others rings i would also add them to the same pick group..

if set a is not at his desk, i would rather use the pick code then listen to the rings.. rco determines the number of rings prior to ROLL

The important part is that forward no answer will only jump 2-3 times. It is a limitation that has always bothered me but maybe there is a reason for it.

I still get only three fowards then ring until I hang up I have all of my five tn's like this

I think you may need to change FBD to FBA in CLS? I am guessing because I'm a newcomer to this. If I recall, I ran into this same problem in the past, and I think that's how we resolved it -- again, I'm going off of memory and it's 11:00 at night -- bad combination! If I were you, I'd wait for the experts! Good luck. I'll keep track of this posting to see how it's resolved.

you will never get more then three forwards on ring no answer.. nortel does not allow ringback forever.. after 3 hops if no one answers the caller will not wait.. if nortel allowed 32 fna's. someone would program it.. and your xpe's would busy out, then all internal would have to wait for dial tone.. 32 hops. 64 speech paths, no one get ring back or dial tone until that insane caller hangs up..

I hope i'm not being stupid but does this mean I will not be able to do a round robin type forward 3280 to 3281 to 3282 to 3283 to 3284 to 3280
