I need Linkswitch 1000 technical documentation

I need to implement SNMP on some 3com linskswith 1000(3com part number 3c16900). I am uncertain what the specs are for this particular device or even how to find it on my network. There is no documentation, and 3Com has classified it as obsolete and seems to no longer have docs on it. If anyone knows where I might find the documentation it would be a big help. I can not even connect through hyperterminal as the situation stands.
