I have a central office having the main servers. i have 3 other office buildings,

one is in direct line of sight about 100 metres
Secong is not in direct line of sight at about 300-400 meters
Third is again not in direct line of sight at about 600-700 meters.

Is there any wireless solution that can help me.

I am not aware of any wireless solutions that are not line of sight, the distances are not difficult to acheive with directional antennas, but the line of sight will foul you up. I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Do you have line of sight between building one and building two (same question for building one to building three)?

If so, you could do a point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, point-to-point solution.

It would look something like this:

_ Bldg 2
/
Main Bldg ----- Bldg 1 <
\_
Bldg 3

might be worthwhile speaking to Wireless data services. They are the world leaders in this.
They wont flog you equipment but can tell you the best way to achieve what you want. The 802.11b is line of site only but you can achieve up to 25 miles with a WiFi bridge.DLOS

Also there is a 30% degredation of data if you are using bluetooth piconets within the network.

There is a parallel technology to 802.11b which integrates with 3g gsm with a 54mbps bitrate. It is called hyperlan/2 and it is common in Europe. If you are based in the states your pretty stuffed as the gsm networks there are a little backward. GPRS is still flaky stateside. Hyperlan/2 is backward compatible to 802.11b and also integrates with the coming UMTS (3G) standard. You will see this technology roll out this coming year. Options for you to muse over.

Hope it helps. Wireless guru
