so i'm tryin to play an old game, and it seems my current graphic card is too advanced. So i figure...if i disable this graphic card, it should fall back on my old one, right? maybe that'll work with this game. So that's what i do, except i'd forgotten that my old card was actually taken out when i had some upgrades done on it a year ago. So now i just get a blank screen when i start up, even though everything else is working fine, i can hear the startup beeps, etc.
I have no other slot for my moniter but the one that connects into my graphic card, the other one was taken out when i got my computer upgraded.
Is there any way to get my display back, without buying a new card or opening my computer up? I'm in university right now and i need to get assignments done etc, so any quick feedback would be highly appreciated.
thanks!
