Hi All,
I have a customer reporting hearing their own music on hold,
System is V11.0.0
I have seen threads about issues in 9.1 with this sort of thing but patches were apparently available
Local MOH on the SIP trunks is unticked and re-invite supported is ticked,
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks!

it is a SIP message that tells the call to hold on the wrong end.
The issue might be at the other end and the caller's system is the one causing it.
Try from different sources.
Monitor the call with all SIP messages and then you should find out if the IPO behaves properly.

This is a known issue as per the below Avaya Solution:

Cause
Interoperability issue.
Details of RFC6337 indicate that when a HOLD is invoked between 2 endpoints, the MOH may be sent from either the remote or local node.
In this case, the IP Office uses local MOH, although many users would consider this as unexpected behaviour.

Solution
For 10.0 or higher systems, the IP Office functionality has been updated. The SIP Line can be configured so that MOH can be provided by the far end or the IP Office when a HOLD is sent to the IP Office.
This setting is found in Manager > Line > SIP Line > VoIP tab > "Local Hold Music

Thanks for that update..that was new to me...

Looks as if it is a simple fix
