Hi

I'm having problems with "man". When I ask for man command, it appears the following message: man: can't connect to scottp. I'm working on SCO OpenServer release 5.02.
Please, help me.

scohttp is the serving application for man pages.
It is not running or has stopped responding.

/etc/scohttp stop;/etc/scohttp start

Thanks,

I was trying whith the commands /etc/scohttp stop; /etc/scohttp start in several times but the problem still continue.

Do you have another solution for this problem.

Thanks.

Radibel.

/etc/scohttp query

then possibly
/etc/scohttp enable
depending on the result of the query

Hi

I tried with /etc/scohttp query and it answers enable and runnig. I tried with /etc/scohttp enable and the problem persist.

Somebody know how can I reinstall this service or something like this.

Thanks.

Try connecting to http://yourservername.yourdomain.com:457/dochome.html using your favourite web browser. If that works the SCOHTTP is working fine. Annihilannic.
