I have found a couple Processor for D925XBC Motherboard PLEASE HELP! 1

Everybody, PLEASE FORGIVE ME if I seem so darn dumb! but I'm trying hard to learn

I have been doing so much reading on the internet, I'm confusing myself
Can anybody tell me if I this Pentium Processor is compatible with the D925XBC Motherboard? Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2GHz Prescott Core, 800MHz FSB, 2MB Cache, 90nm, 64-Bit EM64T, XD, Socket 775 CPU Processor LGA775 w/ Hyper-Threading Technology (Retail with Fan and Heatsink, BX80547PG3200F) OR

would this processor be a better match? Intel Pentium 4 550 3.40GHz 800MHz 1MB Socket 775 CPU

And have you considered any of the Core 2 Duo CPUs? They are superior to the Pentium 4s.

Freestone, my problem is I'm still learning and haven't built a computer for a few years now. I wasn't sure about whether the motherboard would need to have 64-Bit EM64T? and I didn't see anything about the motherboard to confirm it? I want something that will last me for sometime for the
Intel 925xbc motherboard.

ok sorry about that! I did see that it supports processors with em64t. Guess I better start wearing my glasses
