I have become an owner of a IBM rs/6000 43p 150. The only thing that is missing is the video card. I would like to know what are my video card options for this computer. I would like to keep it and use it as a linux server but if it is too much of a problem, i'll sell it. I dont really know what to do with it.

Thank for any help

The 43P 150 (7043-150D) uses the GXT300P graphics adapter.

The entry spec 150 model (7043-150C) uses the GXT130P graphics adapter and the higher spec 7043-150E uses the GXT2000P graphics adapter.

Hope it helps.

I think you can find these cards at any big Auction Site
I hope it works...
Unix was made by and for smart people.

You'll need to use the Suse Linux-ppc 7.0 distribution for this machine, and have fun setting it up it's really hard.

The software required `Windows 95 or better', so I installed Linux.
