I have an IP Office 8.1 (73)that the Device Type for the user changes to a 46XX type phone when it should be a 96XX phone.
It will correct on a reboot of the 500v2 each time

I've run into this in the past. Upgrading IPO firmware was my solution.

I'm guessing the 9608's are of the firmware version that won't downgrade below 9.1, and you need to upgrade the IPO to fix the issue
