I have an IBM Thinkpad T22. When I'm not using a monitor - using it with the LCD, the video on the LCD using the full screen is horrible. Is there a driver I'm missing?

At ther risk of being obvious have you rigth-clicked on the LCD screen and tried resetting the 'Settings' in the Properties screen?

It is vry likely that you have the screen set to a resolution lower than 1024x768 (default size of the LCD on a T22) and have the screen streach feature on. laptop displays cannot dynamically resize like regular monitors can, so the only way to get full screen at under their intended resolution is to streach the screen. That will prouce a very bad-looking display. I suggest setting the display resolution to 1024x768, it will look much better.

Actually the answer to both of you is yes, I've set the settings and my resolution is at 1024X68. Perhaps I should be clearer the display is fine unless I change the the Thinkpad settings in the Thinkpad Configuration to enable screen expansion of the LCD - using the full LCD screen. If I turn that on, the display is horrible.

Is it as bad at a lower resolution ? Is your color setting at 16 or 32bit ?
