I have AE 5.0 Production Bundle, and I also have just recieved AE 5.0 (Not production Bundle) but with another folder that has every plug-in known in the After Effects community.
1)- Should I install both programs?
2)- If I do, will they have problems
3)- Which one's better, and should I go with?
4)- I use it mostly with Lightwave animations I've made. When the program 1st starts, it has a screen asking for what settings I want to use...ASCII, Mac, Video this, and Video that, (I don't know off hand) but....what setting do I want, since I'm making .avi's and .Mov's from Lightwave, and using AE for special effects, and for editing.

5)- Does anyone know of a bluescreen/greenscreen tutorial? (I think it's also called using alpha channels) or one about saving Lightwave animations as single frames then using either Premier or AE to make the animation. I need to learn these 2 techniques ASAP.

P.S. What the heck is Tekumseh Mark-up Language? Sounds like somekind of HTML for WWII Kamakazi pilots.

1. Nope, unless you want to for some strange reason. PB has everything non-PB has, and you can always import a folder of plug-ins. If you really don't know the difference, may I direct you to (their motto: "Where the World is Your Oyster!")
2. Oooh, what a fascinating evening of experimentation that would be!
3. See #1
4. Match your project settings to your Lightwave project settings. If you don't understand the project settings, spend some time with the thick papery thing that came with the software. Get one of the new fancy After Effects keyboards with the F1 key. Try it.
5. Can you smell the success?:

Hope that helps!

Cheers,

Maybe another comic genius like Mr. Bean is looking for you. You both have the same type of humor, the kind that isn't funny.
