can 5410 sets and 1408 sets work on same IPO 500 v2 combo card.

Yes they can but is it a 412 or a 500?

Thanks tlpeter, Customer currently have an IPO 406 v2 system w1th 8 5410 sets plus 1 X 3810 portable handset and is now expanding to an IPO 500 rather than adding a dig 16 module to 406. They would like to combine the 5410 sets and 3810 portable along with the new 1408 sets onto the new IPO 500 v2.

In preparing the new IPO500 V2 I had to upgrade the combo firmware from 7.0 (5) to 7.0 (27)to get the IP office / daughter bd up.

I'm wondering what I'll be faced with on cut over day as I would be moving the 5410s to the new IPO 500 V2.equipped and working fine with 1408 sets.
My question: is there a specific firware rev level that I would have to down load to the SD card to bring every thing up as a plug and play system.

the 14xx and 54xx sets will work fine together. the 5410's will need an update. they won't do it automagically though. need the super secret documented nouser source number.

this contains all the info you can ever need for the 5410 junkers

They are stubborn and caused problems with upgrading every time the system got rebooted so that Avaya circumvented the problem by not having them upgrade at all any more except if you really tell them twice to do so. Bad fix but apparently cheaper than rewriting the firmware properly.

The batch file is in your manager folder turn_on.bat you need to change into a txt file adjust the settings basically the switch address resave and run.
