I have a subform that has two fields. Both of these fields are comboboxes and the form is plain (doesn't have rows and columns like excel) so if you want to see all of the records you have to use the record advance button on the bottom of the subform. I would like to have a field on the main form (or perhaps just use another subform) that will show all of these records all at once as they are being selected in the subform. I do not want it to be an editable form, just something that will show the field info altogether.

Is this possible?

Hi,
I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do... sounds like you want a datasheet subform with the fields locked and the form's allow additions and deletions properties set to No.

Yes, that is what I am trying to do. I want a subform that you can see all the records from another subform (but on this subform you can only see one record at a time). What I need it to do is update after each selection in the combobox is made from the dataentry subform.

Try this...

Go to the subform in design view. In the form properties change the form's Default View to Continuous Forms instead of Single Form. This will create a new series of fields for each record you want to display. Just make sure you have enabled vertical scrollbars on your subform incase you have more records than can be displayed in your subform area.
