Hello..
I have a cm 5.2 430 in Chicago as well as a Nortel with Call Pilot. I have Avaya G350 in New York.
A caller dials a New York number (212-555-6219), and routes to Call Pilot in Chicago which is QSIG connected to the AVAYA gateway in New York.
If the caller presses 0, the CALL Pilot sends the call to a phantom extension (77219) – unique to that mailbox, that routes back to New York. That phantom hits a Coverage Path in AVAYA and looks at the originally called person’s secretary, then Receptionist. If neither answer, I send the call back to Call Pilot and let the caller leave a message in the mailbox belonging to the person they originally called. We can do that by putting 77219 as an alternate extension to 6612 in the Pilot mailbox setup.
So far so good...
What I’d like to do is play a short announcement before sending the call back to Pilot – saying “our message center is now closed. Please remain on the line to leave a message for the person you originally called.” I would want to make the phantom 77219’s coverage path be
Coverage point 1: secretary extension (6225)
Cov point 2: Reception (6200)
Cov p 3: vdn to a vector that plays an announcement, then sends the call to Call Pilot, but keeps the digits 77219 as the dialed number to integrate to Call Pilot.
Does anyone have any idea how to do this? Thanks!
Joe
