I install the phone at the voicemail port but I did not see anything on the display. Do I have to add the CO lines before assign it as a voicemail port?

Use Line DIL programming in the PBX to have the voicemail answer immediately. Use line group programming to enable "intercept" and set the number of rings in intercept time programming for a delayed answer. Specify the voicemail's hunt group extension as the target (most likely 165).
