I have a Meridian 6x16 KSU. I have Analog Terminal Adaptors on extensions 24 and 25, connected to a 2-line automated attendent system.

I would like all incoming calls that come in on any line (1 thru 6) to first ring at extension 24. If extension 24 is busy (handling a call) then I would like the call to ring in on extension 25. I don't see how to do this as my manual does not match my system. My "System Version" reports as 30DBG04.

Thanks in advance to whoever helps.

Well the simplest way would be to have DN24 as the target ext. for the AA then set DN24 up to forward to DN25 on busy.
You can also have it forward for RNA but not advised unless you place a mailbox on DN25 to collect the MSGS.
If you don't forward on RNA the call should get cycled back to the AA after so many rings.
Process for forwarding:
F266344
266344 (default password)
terminals and set>show>24>show>next>capabilites>forward no answer>"dn" to forward to>next>RNA>"what you want to forward to best to leave blank">heading>heading>terminals and sets>show>25>show>next>capabilities>forward No answer "back to 24" forward no answer to 24>RLS If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

Don't know if you can do this with your software version. You will need to setup ext. 24 and 25 to have ringing for incoming lines assigned, then setup ext. 24 to "forward on busy" to ext. 25. Should be able to do this in DR5 software. If you have older DR software, you may not be able to set "Forward On Busy".

The software level is DR-2 working issue 7 release 04 and I don't have the docs to be able to tell ya if call forward busy is available. JerryReeve

Call forward busy is not available on DR2.

Is it possible to at least get devices on the ATA's to receive a ring from the ATA for all of the 6 incoming phone lines? Currently, I have all 6 lines configured for each ATA under line access and have ring turned on for all of them, however, plugging a standard telephone into the ATA shows me that it only rings when the first line out of the 6 has call coming in. If I can at least get this working, I can get the voice mail system working on 1 simultaneous call at a time.
