Do other USB drives show up in the My Computer folder? Use Device Manager and uninstall the USB root hubs that show on your machine now. Reboot and let XP rediscover the ports. Formatted as a HDD. and the PC thinks that is what is attached and lists it under the Normal Partitions... 2. There are NO free DRIVE LETTERS available and thus is not mounted... 3.
