I hate to ask!!! But web surfing through an IP Office IP set?

Is it possible??? My boss has it in his head that he can use his 4625 to surf the web. I am trying to convince him otherwise... Is it or was it ever possible or has he been flooded with so much Avaya propaganda that he has lost reasoning (since there is the newest PC in the shop sitting next to the phone for web surfing!!!)

Logic is losing fast thou and again I hate to ask but do not see this on any of the threads thru my searching.

not working, get mobility and a blackberry and use the blackberry for the surfing if you absolutely need a small inferior screen.

I have IE on my TYTNII and its quite good but i would never use it if there was a pc nearby. I dread to think how bad it would be on a 4625.

What you need to do is find something else to capture his interest. have you seen this thread?

It is possible but the phones use WAP so it is like surfing on an old mobile phone and probably 95% of all websites do not work on the phone

It is designed for a push server so there can be messages pushed to the phones or order your meal in a hotel

but integrating phone system and coffee machine is a proper application of technology!

The only thing what i like to see when it had a webbrowser, is the doorphone with a cam in it. But most receptionist have a PC with better resolutions and faster processors.
