I get [ScanNtfs - Scan aborted. Fatal error - File Pagefile.sys] this error using Windows XP Pro with Diskeeper Version: 7.0.418.0


I could not understand exactly how to do this from another forum:

When using Diskeeper 6.0, I get ScanNtfs - Scan aborted. Fatal error - File Pagefile.sys. What is wrong?

Right-click on the Registry Key that you wish to change/check the Access Permissions.

In the resulting menu will be the heading "Permissions", click on that to make any changes.
