i forgot pasword How I con enter to OS system

I dont remember the password for a hp-750 ux operating system and i can`t enter tothe operating system .

How I enter to OS ux

When the system boots you will get a 10sec interupt boot process press a key at
this time.
enter
01) bo pri boot primary)
02)Y - to interact with ipl
03)isl> hpux -is (will boot to single user )
then change your password
passwd root

and then reboot your machine i.e. type reboot

press any key whithin 10seconds
main commaend menu>bo
IPL?(Y/N) Y
ISL>hpux -is
then #passwd root
to set your new password

Thank no problem in the beginner
step 01 is Ok ( boot pri )
step 02 is Ok ( Ipl y )
step 03 is Ok ( hpux -is )

but the passwd command is not acept for the system OS

please givne a second help

then just edit the /etc/passwd file and remove any entry in second field.
root::0:3::/:/sbin/sh

Now run passwd command
#passwd
