Hi,
I have installed win2000 pro.
I create two account:
-Administrator
-Restricted User.

I want that this user not work with internet explorer.
How can I do for this limitation?

Thanks

You could try setting NTFS perms on IEXPLORER.EXE so that user cannot execute it.

If it is just web access you want to block, how about setting an invalid proxy address for IE in the local group policy.

There may be a way of setting it to look to the loop back address 127.0.0.1 for all internet addresses. ie, the . or dot in .com. Should be able to set this in the hosts or services file or something.

Win2K servers can fail in this way. The entry of "." has to be wiped to fix it.

Good Luck.
