I have a system that is a older 8x24 wDR5 software, and every other day there is a Fax line calling one of the hunt group. is there a inbound call logging option that would see where the calls come from ? also the lines are plain Centrex Lines, No caller ID

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

You can put a fax machine on an ATA. When you get the call then transfer it to the fax extension.

If you know which line the call is coming in on you can put a com switch on the line before it gets to the system.
The com switch will answer the line sample it and either send it to the phone system or the fax machine. I have done this before for customers who were bothered by faxes coming in over regular lines.
you can find the com switch at Office Depot for around $100.00 well worth the cost if you can stop the fax calls.
Good Luck........

just take a ata and hook up to a spare fax... tell recpt to transfer to fax ext"ata" or just put that line on a fax for a day or so till yo get the fax doc
