Okay, I know nothing about it. But, we purchased a software product that uses Progress and I have full access to see what I can do with it in order to avoid Support charges.
I don't want to break anything, but I would like to create some queries and if I can develop some views, I'd like to know where and how I can do this.
I am proficient in SQL Server 2000, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyser, and have noticed similar tools in Progress but I don't know how to get to our data ON the progress server.
I do have an ODBC connection from my workstation to the data, but I'd like to create some of my own views, and well if anyone can help me get started, I would appreciate it very much.
thanks
