Hi all , I hope all going well with you ....

Accidentally I deleted the following folder in my solaris 10 86x /kernal , /devices , /plateform , that caused the system fail to boot , Please any one can help me to .

Thank in Advance

up may try to do an OS upgrade via the dvd's, jumpstart, or however you usually do it. this may put it back.

/devices can be rebuilt on the fly (via a boot -r), but /kernel and /platform cannot.

Try the upgrade as suggested above or restore from backup.

And it's /kernel by the way... I don't know why so many people type "kernal"...???
