Hello everyone,

I am looking for this .img, somebody can help me?

When upgrading to V3R3/4 from a version lower than
V2R2 (your current handsets) it is necessary to upgrade to V2R2
first.

OS15 Release Notes OpenStage_SIP_V2R2.48.0_Release_Note_V9.0_extern
OS15 SIP Firmware OS_15_SIP_V2_R2_48_0

OS40 Release Notes OpenStage_SIP_V2R2.48.0_Release_Note_V9.0_extern
OS40 SIP Firmware OS_40_SIP_V2_R2_48_0

Thank you in advance,

I have tried with all of FW availables here but never.

Thank you

One other suggestion I have for you - take all those underlines and crap out of the filename and just have it be a big blob of text, such as os15sipv3r332 - Use lower case, Leave the extension the same (.bin or whatever). I cannot tell you how many problems I've had with filenames when trying to transfer software directly to phones like that.

I would be interested to know if that solves your problem. :)

Hello,

Thanks for your answers I want to share that I have not been able to update yet but I suspect it is because I have a problem with the FTP server, I have downloaded a version of the 3CDaemon that is recommended in the forum but it has not served me, I have also used the filezilla and the one that brings Windows 10 but still "error file not supported". I am desperate for this, sorry for the inconvenience but can any of you explain how to test my FTP server or failing to pass the guide to configure it as it has served you?

Thank you,

OK. How about change the home directory on your FTP server when you login to the one that has your firmware files in it. Then on the phone, for the ftp path, try either ./ or just . (can't remember right now). See if that helps. Make sure that the ftp software you are using has full permissions for the directory you are using. I have one setup on my PC at work that was working well, but I stopped using it after we got the deployment server (DLS) because it's just click and play for the most part.

Also, after the fact, if you are hosting your ftp software on a windows maching be sure you go into the Windows Firewall settings under control panel and make sure you have your ftp software listed as an application that is allowed through the firewall (or temporarily disable the firewall and see if it works, and then turn it back on and properly whitelist the application. Also, if you are running an antivirus suite that offers "full protection" you may also have to whitelist the software in that.

Not sure if it is just because the screen isn't big enough above to see, but you do need the file extn as well, all the ones I have on my PC are .img. I use 3com daemon and you can watch the logging in the ftp screen whether the phone actually makes it as far as the ftp server and gets rejected, or the phone is deciding the file is invalid.

The other option is to try using the dert tool to change the the firmware.

Normally you don't specify the FTP path like that, c:\blah blah. The FTP server will assign a directory to the FTP user you have created, and you put the file in there. So I would generally make that a . or a / or a \ depending on OS, or leave it blank.

If you enable logging on the FTP server if you can, or start wireshark on the PC with the FTP server and capture port 21, then you can right click the captured packets and "follow tcp stream", you will be able to see if the phone is actually logging in to the server, and getting the file, or you will be able to see if one of the commands is failing.

Until you know what is happening you are just guessing, so either check the log or start wireshark.

Hello Again,

I'm sorry for my late reply, I could do the update successfully, my problem was about my FTP server I use the windows FTP server and allow the respective permissions and then I get do the update.

Thank you for all,
