I cant re-install share point!!! 1

I was playing around with this on our 2003 server and i got it working, and i deleted the sites in the IIS instead of on the admin page itself.

when i re install it dont re create the site in the IIS and when i click the link for the admin page it is a broken link

what do i have to do to fix this?

Which version of SharePoint are you using? Instead of attempting to fix a 2.0 site, I would upgrade to 3.0. Probably didn't exactly answer your question but...

It might be you have the instances of the databases still hanging in there somewhere. I can't remember but I had the same problem before. If you don't use SQL Express you shouldn't have that problem I think.

no we dont use SQL express very stuck

Opps I made a tpyo earlier I meant to say that you WILL have prorblems if you do use SQL Express since it might not clean up the content database stuck on your box. SO you will have to uninstall the database manually before you reinstall V3.
