I can't get my code to run. I'm sure I had it working ok at one time when I first set it up, but now when I view my pages in a browser, it doesn't seem to show anything that's done in vb.net code . When I view the source of the page it shows the actual code. I tried repairing the visual studio install, and uninstalled IIS, then re-installed it. I checked the Faqs for this forum, and to my limited knowledge it seems like everything is setup. I tried some regular asp code on an asp page in one of my projects and that worked ok. Can anyone suggest what could be wrong?

Ok I checked my settings at work to see what was different and I went to the Internet Information Services console, right clicked on Default Web Site, Properties. Under App Mappings which I found when I clicked on Configuration on the Home Directory tab. I noticed that I didn't have any of the .net extensions. So I mapped .aspx to test it and now when I load my pages it just shows : -2147467259 (0x80004005) in the browser. Anyone have any ideas about that?

thanks
nicole

I am not too sure what would cause this other than the framework and iis not cooperating.

My advice would be to uninstall IIS and VS and the framework. Reinstall IIS then VS.

Hopefully that will work. That'l do donkey, that'l do
