I can't get back to default look for Free version of Eudora

Hello, I'm having trouble getting my version of Eudora back to the way it normally looks. I want the left side of screen to show the box with the tabs on bottom,Signatures,Mailboxes, etc. Can someone explain how I can get back that docked area please..Sorry for the way I'm explaining,,

Hi

Go to Tools and click Mailboxes to show it. You can then right click the top and ensure "Allow Docking" is ticked then drag it across to the left hand side of the screen.

Thanks jrbarnett, I went to tools, I see Mailbox,stationary, signatures, Personalitys, for some reason I can't see that box anymore on the left side of my screen. I have Eudora open at the Inbox but it takes up the whole screen. In other words I want it to look like it did first time I open Eudora. I did this before, can't figure out how to get back that small docked section.

Open Eudora, select TOOLS then Mailboxes

If you have the Inbox open taking the whole screen up, click the restore button on the title bar (the middle of the 3 on the top right window) to resize it to a more usable size.

Great jrbarnett, I think were on the right track. The size of the In-Box window is not the problem as much as I want to have that box on the left that has tabs on bottom of it for Sig, Mailboxes, I think there are 4 or 5 tabs. That box is gone?? You could make up your signature in there. i hope i am making myself clear, I apolagize jr.also the advertisement box would sit below it on left side. so I need to get that box back. i wish I knew what it was called.

You should just be able to move the ad box and it would sit under the folders/signatures/personas tabs.

Just out of question, which version of Eudora are you using?

I'm using ver.6.0.1.1 Thats right, I CAN move the ad box all around but the folders/sigs/personals/mailboxes/ that box is gone

If you open the tools menu there should be a set of items:
Mailboxes
Stationery
File Browser
Signatures
Personalities

if you click on either one of those it should bring it back on screen with that tab active. All you should need to do then is move it back to the correct place.
If this isn't exactly right for your setup I apologise, but I am a little behind the times, i'm still using 4.3.2 but have found no reason to upgrade to the latest version.

I can believe it jr..I found it at the very, very bottom of my screen. It was hidden somehow. Jr. I thought the earlier versions did not have a spell check in them.

Mine does - use Edit -> Check spelling or press Ctrl 6. Unusual combinations, yes, but they work.
