Am I doing something terribly wrong? I have not been able to export anything over about 2 minutes to my camera. I'm running a Sony 1.5 Gig system with 640 mb Ram, Pentium 4, Windows XP, and I'm trying to export my file thru fire-wire to my Digital 8 Sony camera. To speed the whole thing up I've saved my entire project to big movie file and opened that up in the timeline, now when I go to export to tape and start it up. The sound jumps ever few seconds. It's horrible! I can't put anything onto tape. Is there a special setting to put my computer on or mess with the virtual memory or what? I need help, what can I do actually get my project onto tape without jumping video or audio?

wassap vader...
i experienced similar problems exporting to tape... what i do now is render the entire thing first (onto my hard drive) then create a new project, import that render, then export to tape... make sure your project is dv ntsc standard 32 kHz... play with other export settings various things might work... hit me at donshuggin@yahoo.com if you feel the urge... peace and good luck
