I cannot browse the Sample Cubes or any Cubes

I just installed( and reinstalled) Analysis Services and I get the following error when I try to browse the Sales cube

"Unable to browse the cube 'Sales'. Unspecified error.

Everything else I tired seems to work, I can build cubes and process data into them, but once I try to Browse Data I get the above error message.

Any ideas?

I running Version 5.0 (Build 21955: Service Pack 2)
I am running on a Windows 2000 machine.

hi,
did u give the permission to that user. If u didn't give permission to any users, u can browse the cube in the system where the olap server is running and in other systems u will get this msg. If so, go to roles and add the users to whom u want to give access. i think it will help u.

I am a new user. Can you tell me is it possible to do left/outer etc joins on MSOLAP. If yes, please tell me how ?

One of the reasons for this is if the OLEDB driver is not installed you will get this. The same problem i solved by installing Office XP, with which the OLEDB Provider for OLAP will be installed.
