Hello all,

I am sure I have not set something on the server correctly but here is the situation....

I created a app farm, and then tested by installing client on a laptop on the LAN. Everything worked fine. Later once home I installed the Citrix Client on my Win2k Pro system at home and attempted to connect. During the setup of a "find new application set" it finds the set. BUT when I click on the new app set it just hangs and I get an error message stating...

Cannot connect to the Citrix Server:

There is no Citrix Server configured on the specified address.

I then try to connect using a "custom ICA connection" and again it finds the server, no problem and when I then click on the new "custom connection" I get the remote desktop.

Why soes one work and not the other? Please help, I want to prestent a set of applications to the remote user NOT a remote desktop.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi!
Probably you have a problem with the firewall at your office. to be able to run Citrix thur a firewall you have to have port TCP 1494 open in the firewall, but to be able to run published applications you also have to have port UDP 1604 open in the firewall.
Hope this helps

Unfortunatly that is not it, the firewall is wide open to this server. It is NAT'd but all ports are allowed. Any other ideas?
