I can´t change, create or delete announcements on VAL

Hi,

I have a S8700 with 4 vals boards with free space enough in each of them.
When I enter the command "change annonuncemnent" the S8700 shows "Error encountered, can't complete request".

It´s very important for me because I can not create any campaign.

Release:

Contains: 02.0.110.4
Reports as: R011x.02.0.110.4
Release String: S8700-011-02.0.110.4
02.0.110.4-5892 applied COMBO 5854 5100
 
If you paste the contents of your "change announcements" screen here, maybe we can see something that's wrong with the inputs.
 
thank MARCELL55, but the error is because I have one announcement without two fields: TYPE and PORT. When I complete this fields the machine shows the following error:

"Error encountered, can't complete request".





 
What if you removed the other fields for that announcement, saved the changes and then tried adding it back from scratch?

I have seen the following thing in the docuentation:

NOTE:
When the successful execution of a command is prevented, an error
message that is usually self-explanatory displays. If the following message
appears, the software is most likely corrupt:
Error encountered; can’t complete request
In this case, follow normal escalation procedures.
Somebody has had this same problem?
How to solved?
 
did you ever get this fixed? if so, how? I have this error too
 
I solved this problem when I called to Avaya.
I think It is a bug. I asked them to explain me the problem, but Avaya didn´t reply me.

If you scale the problem, please try ask to Avaya the solution.

Now I have this problem in another machine.
I have had this problem many times in differents versions of Communication Manager.
