I appologize if this isn't the appropriate place to post this question.
We looking into purchasing an MSDN subscription.
The sales rep at CDW was very help about saving us money.
Instead of purchasing, what she called, the "boxed" product
we could purchase the MSDN License product along with four (4) other cheap licenses. (Doesn't matter if we needed them or not.)
She said it was completely legal and that I would not be able to tell the difference...except that I wouldn't get a box. The automatic shipments would still arrive.
Is it legal/ethical to save money this way. We would save about $900.00.
Is she correct that I won't be able to tell the difference between the "boxed" version and the "license" version?
Thank you for your help,
Aaron
