I am working on Autocad 2002, but still save in autocad r 14. (one guy still use 14) Sometime the lisp files that I have autoloaded just stop working. I type them & autocad does nothing. Like they do not exist. I load one lisp file & bam they all work. Sometimes I get this when I hit f2.

(LISP command is not available.)

Does anyone else get this problem? Is this a autocad r 14 to autocad 2002 thing? Does anyone know how to fix this or any hints. Thanks.

I've experienced this problem too. I don't know how to fix it permanantly. I found the closing autoCAD2002 and opening it again would fix it most of the time. A couple of time I had to restart my system.

This is just a guess as I couldn't tell if the problem was related to opening a new drawing... but maybe it's the LISPINIT setting.

LISPINIT
Initial value: 1
When single-document interface is enabled, specifies whether AutoLISP-defined functions and variables are preserved when you open a new drawing or whether they are valid in the current drawing session only.

0 AutoLISP functions and variables are preserved from drawing to drawing
1 AutoLISP functions and variables are valid in the current drawing only

CarlAK,

I thought that you had it for me, but I am in SDI mode. Lispinit does not work in single drawing mode. Thanks for trying bud.
