I am having problems with my winsock (win2003)

My winsock stopped working due to a Adware program. Now i am stuck with no internet, and the winsock fix program that is out there is not compatible with windows 2003. I dont know how to solve this issue without reinstalling windows. What should i do????? The winsock32.dll is has a different version from all other windows out there. I am lost with no fix availible. May you help me in anyway??please.

Do you have a second Windows 2003 installation? Follow this MS KB advice:

And in any case, Start, Run, CMD

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

Ok i will find someone with my same os and do it. tanks for the help i will get back to u later if it doesnt work out.
Hey do u have windows 2003?? If so i can give u my email so u can send the winsock log files.

Not for another week will i be onsite. You could:

. Export the Win2003 Winsock keys to a file.
. Export from XP Pro the two Winsock keys to a file.
. Merge the XP Pro keys
. netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

My bet is that it will work.
