Hello about two days ago I arrived at my girlfriend's house after settling in she game me her password in order to connect to her wireless network. However, what I found was that even though I am signed into the network andthe little computer screen on the bottom right hand side of my screen is flashing blue and telling me I am connected and have an excellent signal when I open up my browser it does not open up any webpages... and when it does it take like fifteen minutes. I dont think its my computer because I have often been able to connected to any network without any problems except for here. The weird thing is that her computer is on the same network and its working fine. The only difference I saw was that her computer said that her connection speed is 54mbps while mine says 24mbps. Thanks in advance for any help you may provide

You might have to insert an ip-address in the wireless setup as well as the DNS ip-address,had a problem with a new laptop running Vista and this was the work around,Check the settings from a connection to the Wireless Router for the ip-addresses

I hate Will's there are always other relatives around

hello could you be a little more specific in how you did this please... im not sure where to start
